Tumor Boards at LacksAs part of our multidisciplinary expert care, The Lacks Cancer Center holds numerous Tumor Board meetings throughout each month to discuss the treatment of individual cancer patients entering our programs. Specialists from every area of care—body, mind and spirit—are present to discuss all details of patient care. Those in attendance include surgical oncologists, general surgeons, neurosurgeons, gynecologic oncologists, thoracic surgeons, medical oncologists, pulmonary medicine specialists, radiation oncologists, nutritionists, nurses, pathologists, radiologists, urologists and cancer care specialists.
