Diagnosis

An early diagnosis of Pancreatic cancer is rare because of the awkward location of the pancreas and the lack of symptoms. However, at The Lacks Cancer Center, we have many unique diagnostic tools that aide considerably in the early diagnosis of this disease. One of the most progressive is our endoscopic ultrasound program, developed and headed by Dr. Bradley Morrow. Dr. Morrow came to The Lacks Cancer Center through the Cleveland Clinic and has more experience with this procedure than any other regional physician. In addition to this technique, our multidisciplinary team of experts provides other diagnostic tests based on individual need. These include:

  • Angiodynamic CT
  • Endoscopic Ultrasound
  • Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio Pancreatography
  • Laparoscopic Surgery
  • MRI
  • MR Colonography
  • PET Scan
  • Laparoscopy
  • Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholangiography

To schedule an Endoscopic Ultrasound ask your primary care physician for a referral or make a self-referral by calling 1-877-LACKS-MI or 616-685-LACK(S).
